Every Worker, Every Time Campaign Reaches 50,000 Across the US
The first week in June, more than 1 million people participated in the US Government's Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Stand-Down initiative to prevent fatal falls across the United States. To support this initiative, Capital Safety kicked off its own campaign, called Every Worker, Every Time, which targeted more than 50,000 workers with demonstration vehicles, training centers and field sales force. The US team exceeded that goal in one week and continues to make a real difference in the market place and in workers' lives. In addition, the Company provided wallet cards, safety helmet stickers, and other Capital Safety giveaways to many participants.
"I am so proud of our Capital Safety team and the participation we had nationwide," said Kevin Coplan, President of North America. "It took a real effort to reach over 50,000 workers in just five days. This is a true testament of our commitment to fall safety awareness."
From a social media standpoint, Capital Safety had five Facebook posts with over 40,000 impressions; posted 34 tweets @Capital_Safety for a total of 43,852 impressions and many pictures of the event were also posted by demonstration attendees.
